During Paul Ryan’s interview with the Associated Press, the topic of Steve Bannon’s recent criticisms came up. Ryan, who has been one of the primary targets of attacks by both Democrats and Republicans, says he does not care what others say, specifically pointing out Breitbart and Steve Bannon.
“I’ve got three certainties in life: Death, taxes, and attacks from Breitbart,” Ryan told reporters.
It is no secret that Steve Bannon has been in a feud with the current Speaker of the House. Through Breitbart, Bannon has repeatedly called out Paul Ryan for his inability to get things done within Congress. Apparently, Ryan does not care when someones points out that he’s not doing his job.
“I don’t even pay attention to what they do. So to be honest with you..I don’t even know what they do, so I can’t answer your question because it doesn’t matter to me.”
On Wednesday, Breitbart attacked Ryan once again. They cited Rep. Tom Tancredo who revealed that Paul Ryan went behind Trump’s back and told Republicans at a private dinner that “only one person wants a wall,” reports US Truth Wire.
Tancredo, however, publicly stated that Ryan is out of his mind in this thinking. Just because RINO Paul Ryan does not want a border wall, does not mean everyone else agrees with him.
Tancredo pointed out that,
“[He] know[s] several people in Congress who want a wall and [he] know[s] that there are millions of Americans who want a wall.”
“The Republican establishment is trying to nullify the 2016 election,” Steve Bannon said in an interview with CBS anchor Charlie Rose. “That’s a brutal fact we have to face.”
When Rose asked him to name names, Bannon answered,
“I think Mitch McConnell, and to a degree, Paul Ryan. They do not want Donald Trump’s populist, economic nationalist agenda to be implemented. It’s very obvious.”
