Former Breitbart editor and conservative activist Ben Shapiro gave a speech at U.C. Berkeley last night. Democrats were hoping that Antifa terrorists would be able to stop him from speaking, which is why this came as such bad news to them.
Fox News reported that at least nine people were arrested on Thursday night at protests against Shapiro on the college campus. These arrests included Hannah Benjamin, 20, who was taken into custody for battery on a police officer and carrying a banned weapon. Sarah Roark, 44, was also arrested for carrying a banned weapon.

UC Berkeley spokesman Dan Mogulof called the speech a “successful event” even though he acknowledged that security measures cost a staggering $600,000.
“Free speech isn’t free. It costs over $600,000 thanks to Antifa,” Shapiro wrote on Twitter.

He also commended police for protecting him and ensuring that he could speak.

Liberals claim that they are “tolerant” and “open minded,” yet they constantly resort to violence to silence conservatives like Shapiro.
