The NFL has not been getting the response from its fans that it so much wanted. As the ratings show, people are simply not as interested in the league as they once were. Much of their problems stem from the fact that half of the league seems hell-bent on disrespecting our national anthem, our flag, our country and the people who serve it. But some people have grown tired of this kind of behavior and have taken things into their own hands.
Former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke is one of those people. He is a big supporter of President Donald Trump and his administration. Clarke has made it clear that this kind of behavior will not stand.
He recently called out Colin Kaepernick out on his nonsense protest. There is simply no excuse for what he has been doing to this nation. Now that he has put the wheels in motion, it seems a lot like this thing will be going on for a very long time.
Clarke went on Twitter to let his feelings be heard. He questioned the former quarterback’s sincerity in all of this. “When I see Kaepernick in the hood mentoring young black males on making better lifestyle choices then I will know his sincerity. Opportunist.”

This is not the first time someone has come out saying that what Colin is doing is doing nothing but hurting our nation. Even President Trump had some things to say.
“And you know, your San Francisco quarterback. I’m sure nobody ever heard of him. I’m just reporting the news. There was an article today — I love to report the news and then they said I made a mistake, right? I said, ‘No, the people reporting the news made a mistake if it’s wrong.’ But there was an article today, it was reported that NFL owners don’t want to pick him up because they don’t want to get a nasty tweet from Donald Trump. Do you believe that? I just saw that. I just saw that. Then I said if I remember that one I’m gonna report it to the people of the Kentucky. Because they like it when people actually stand for the American flag.”
It seems like people are finally starting to see what a fraud Kaepernick is. What do you think of Clarke’s comments?
