BREAKING: Beloved Fox & Friends Host Just Made A VERY SAD Announcement About…

A Fox & Friends host has found himself in hot water this week after some were offended by comments he made about the Pennsylvania memorial commemorating the heroes of United Flight 93, who fought back against the terrorists hijacking their plane on 9/11.

NOLA reported that while interviewing Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, Fox & Friends cohost Brian Kilmeade enraged some viewers when he drew a comparison between the 9/11 memorial and the memorials to members of the Confederacy.

“Do you worry 100 years from now someone is going to take that memorial down like they are trying to remake our memorials today?” Kilmeade asked.

Kilmeade went on to say that removing Confederate memorials is erasing history, and that he fears the same thing may happen to 9/11 memorials.

“I’m one who believes we should learn from history,” Zinke responded. “I think our monuments are part of our country’s history. We can learn from it. Since we don’t put up statues of Jesus, everyone is going to fall morally short. And I think reflecting on history, both good and bad, is a powerful statement and part of our DNA. So I’m an advocate again of learning from our monuments and understanding the period that they were made. But also, we live in a great country, and monuments are not Republican and Democrat and independent. The monuments are a tribute to all of us.”

While some were offended by Kilmeade’s comments, we can see where he’s coming from. Removing monuments is a slippery slope, and there’s no telling where liberals will draw the line.

Do you think Kilmeade went too far with this, or do you agree with him? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

  1. I AGREE WITH HIM. I LOOK AT MONUMENTS AND I REMEMBER THE HISTORY TEACHING I RECIEVED AND IT IS WONDERFUL TO SUDDENLY REALIZE WHAT A GREAT THING SCHOOLING OF HISTORY REALLY MEANS TO US WHEN WE ARE GROWN AND OLD. NEVER EVER TAKE HISTORY AWAY FROM US BECAUSE WE ARE GOING BACK IN TIME AND BRINGING IT UP TO THE MOMENT IN OUR MINDS. SURELY THOSE PEOPLE AT THAT TIME ARE HAPPY TO BE REMEMBERED AND NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT.

  2. I agree with him and the only ones that should be upset at what he said are the stupid people who want to tear down our history. In 50 years people won’t remember 9/11 like we do so the liberals may take offense to it being up. Yes
